• Grace Vineyard was founded in 1997 by Mr. Chun-Keung Chan (Hong   Kong China) with the support of his good friend Sylvain Janvier  from France.


    Grace Vineyard began with 69 hectares in Shanxi’s Taigu County.
  • Three years after the first planting, Grace Vineyard debuted its first vintage “Qingchun” (Spring Celebration in Chinese).
  • Vineyard Series Red 2001 received a Certificate of Honour at the Concours Mondial de Bruxelle.
  • Grace Vineyard introduced their newly released wines – Chairman’s Reserve and Tasya’s Reserve, which Tasya’s Reserve was named after our Founder’s first granddaughter Anastasya.
    Grace Vineyard became the first Chinese Winery listed at The Peninsula Hong Kong Hotel since it opened more than 80 years ago.
    Three wines were awarded at the Hong Kong International Wine Challenge, including a silver medal for Tasya’s Reserve Merlot 2001, and the Seal of Approval for our Chairman’s Reserve 2001 and Tasya’s Reserve Cabernet Franc 2001.
  • Three wines were awarded at The International Wine Challenge of Asia, including a silver medal for Tasya’s Reserve Merlot 2001, a bronze medal for the Chairman’s Reserve 2001, and the Seal of Approval for both Tasya’s Reserve Cabernet Franc 2001 and Vineyard Series Red 2001.
    Grace Vineyard opened its first wine shop at Fuzhou, Fujian province.
  • Grace Vineyard received a series of certificates, including the Shanxi Province’s Well-Known Trademark, a Certificate of Quality Reputation – Grade AAA, and the Shanxi Best Brand Certification. 
  • Tasya’s Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon 2004 was “Commended” at the Decanter World Wine Awards (DWWA).
    Grace Vineyard expanded to 200 hectares, an important milestone marking its 10th year since 1997
  • Deep Blue 2005 was awarded a bronze medal at the Decanter World Wine Awards (DWWA), whereas Tasya’s Reserve Chardonnay 2005 and Tasya’s Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon 2005 were “Commended” at the DWWA 2008
    Grace Vineyard expanded its presence and opened 13 new wine shops in China, located in Shanghai, Fujian, Guangdong, and Guangxi, selling exclusively its own wine series
    Grace Vineyard’s success story has been chosen as a case study for the 2008 MBA courses at the Harvard Business School.
    A new Muscat wine called the Symphony Series made via the cooperation between Torres and Grace Vineyard was released
    Deep Blue was selected the only Chinese wine to be served in the first class and business class for Cathay Pacific Airlines

  • Judy Chan, our president and CEO, won the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year 2010 Hong Kong/Macau region
    Deep Blue 2008 was awarded a silver medal and the Best Chinese Wine Award at the Cathay Pacific Hong Kong International Wine and Spirit Competition (HKIWSC), whereas the following four wines were awarded the bronze medals: Tasya’s Reserve Chardonnay 2008, Tasya’s Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon 2008, Sonata 2008, and the Symphony 2009
    Our first wine shop in Fujian was remodeled by top Hong Kong interior designers, setting a foundation in delivering a consistent brand experience across all our wine shops

    Ms. Chan was named the Asian Wine Personality of The Year 2012 by the Institute of Masters of Wine (IMW)
    She was also ranked 8th on the List of 50 Most Powerful Women in Wine 2012 by The Drinks Business

    Ms. Chan also included in Forbes Asia’s “Future Women in the Mix in Asia: 12 to Watch” and nominated as the Most Successful Women 2013 by JESSICA HK magazine
    She was also invited as a speaker at the Wine Vision in London, UK
    Six wines from Grace Vineyard were listed as the stars of the tasting in James Halliday’s Australian Wine Companion blog, one of the most authoritative guide, reviews, and tasting notes to wines in Australia.
    UK wine critic and the world’s most respected wine writer, Jancis Robinson, named Grace Vineyard as the Finest Winery in China in Financial Times UK, as well as included Grace Vineyard into her book “The World Atlas of Wine”
    Sonata 2010 was awarded a gold medal at the RVF 2013 China Wine Award
    Grace Vineyard was awarded the Most Powerful Winery at the RVF 2013, and also nominated as Top 100 Wineries by China Wine 2013
