Grape Variety : 57% Cabernet Sauvignon, 33% Merlot, 10% Cabernet Franc

Length/Type of Fermentation : The fruits were hand sorted, de-stemmed and transfer to stainless steel tank for alcoholic fermentation. Small portion of the fermented wine were undergo MLF in barrel.

Length/Type of Aging : 80% New French oak & 20% one year old barrel for 18 months aging.

Alc : 13.9%vol

Tasting Note : Clear purple red. A welcoming cedar wood, black/red berries, spices and hint of graphite. On the palate, notes of incense and cassis also emerge. The texture is pretty velvety, medium to full weight. The wine now is showing good acidity and silky tannin, depths and texture.

This special edition of Chairman's Reserve is a collaboration with CHOY, a wine collection featuring quality boutique vineyards from around the world.

As the first Chinese vineyard to be featured in the CHOY collection, this special edition Chairman's Reserve showcases the finest wines produced at Grace Vineyard and was hand-picked from the personal collection of the vineyard's Chairman, Chan Chun Keung, with a limited release of 9,600 bottles.

The God of Fortune painting on the label is an original that dates back to the Qing dynasty, the painting is traditionally used to wish prosperity, luck and good fortune to family and friends. Chairman's Reserve 2012 is a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon (57%), Merlot (33%) and Cabernet Franc (10%).
