The wines has dominant aroma of red fruits, spices, ripe capsicum & lightly ripe banana to strawberries characteristic (derive from Carbonic maceration). On the palate, the structure are firm-ish with good amount of tannins / sweetness balance.
We personally love to consume this wine within the next 6 to 12 months for the core freshness from the fruits, but it should further develop into a more interesting character under proper cellaring for another 1 to 2 years.
This wine treated minimum to keep the fruitiness, sedimentation may develop over time in bottle.
Chinese New Year is a special time for us at Grace Vineyard, as we contemplate the snowy vineyards surrounded by the warmth of family and friends. In celebration and thanks, we want to let our friends join us in tasting the new vintage, almost like an invitation to a movie preview.
Each new vintage will be accompanied by an ancient song or poem that holds a special meaning for us. Hopefully through these beautiful words, and a connection to the new vintage, we can connect to the history and present, celebrating this festive time of year.
